Consumer Advisory Panel

HPI's Consumer Advisory Panel is a group of clients, family members, friends and other stakeholders who provide input and make recommendations on matters important to the people we serve.

The Consumer Advisory Panel serves many functions. In addition to being a forum for social contact and support, the Consumer Advisory Panel is a place to offer feedback and suggestions regarding the services offered by HPI. Also, this is a group that educates the community about behavioral health and the reality of recovery. Membership is open to any client, family member, guardian or support person of Hegira Programs, Inc.

You should consider joining HPI's Consumer Advisory Panel if you:

  • Have been impacted by mental illness, substance abuse and/or developmental disability
  • Support the recovery of someone you know or care about
  • Want more support in your own recovery
  • Have an idea for a new service or program
  • Want to share or learn about community resources
  • Have something to say about living with chronic illness

The Consumer Advisory Panel meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month in HPI's Administrative Offices, located at 37450 Schoolcraft, Suite 110 in Livonia from 3:00 - 4:30pm.  If you are interested in joining, please come to our next meeting!
