Hegira Programs Crisis Residential program is for adults
18 years and older with mental illness and or mental illness with
co-occurring substance abuse disorder. The Crisis Residential program
offers intensive, individualized multidisciplinary treatment services in
the comfort of a home-like setting.
HPI's Crisis Residential staff includes psychiatrists,
nurses, social work, a Certified Peer Support Specialists, and trained
Direct Care Workers. Staff is trained in the evaluation and treatment of
persons with mental illness and substance use disorder. HPI's Crisis
Residential program is Medicaid Certified.

Psychosocial and Substance Use History
Multidisciplinary Evaluation (Nursing, Psychiatry and
Social Work) and Intervention
Medication Monitoring
24-hour Direct Care Worker Support
Individualized, person centered service plan
Daily Individual and Group Treatment
Peer Support Services
Laboratory Testing as needed
Aftercare Planning and Community Coordination/Linkage
Crisis Residential is ideal
for adults who:
Need psychological, psychiatric, medical and
or social support to avert an acute care inpatient psychiatric
admission: OR
Have recently been discharged from an acute
care inpatient setting and require short-term intensive
community integration assistance or continue 24-hour medication
monitoring or adjusting: AND/OR
Have co-occurring disorders and respond more
positively in a smaller, more intimate treatment setting.
Daily Services Include:
Individual Counseling
Nursing Services
Medication Administration
Psycho-Education Group
Family Counseling (as needed)
Supportive Group Counseling
Psychiatric Services (as needed)
Coordination with other healthcare providers
(as needed)

Hegira Programs
accepts most managed care and insurance programs, including
Medicaid and Medicare. Persons meeting residency and income restrictions may
be eligible for funding provided by SEMCA, Washtenaw County,
and the CareLink Network, a Managed Comprehensive
Provider Network of the Detroit-Wayne County Community Mental
Health Agency. Major credit cards are accepted.
