Hegira Programs, Inc. is dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals and communities through a behavioral health network of services and related support activity that is responsive to their needs.

About Hegira Programs

Since 1971 Hegira Programs, Inc. (HPI) has been a leader in behavioral healthcare. Today HPI is one of Michigan's largest freestanding integrated, behavioral healthcare organizations, providing a wide variety of mental health and substance abuse treatment services to individuals of all ages.

It is HPI's goal to ensure the availability of quality, individualized, and rapidly accessible integrated, behavioral healthcare and prevention services to individuals and families of all income levels.

For more than a quarter century, Hegira has pledged to meet the diversified needs of our community. Confirming our commitment to excellence, HPI maintains extensive insurance panel memberships, a long history of funding from various agencies and the voluntary continuation of accreditation by the Joint Commission since 1978.
